May 2026 · Current spotlight
Senior Strategy Analyst · Ignite Energy Access
Nairobi, Kenya · Tableau since 2020Tonny discovered Tableau while trying to make sense of energy access data across rural Kenya. What started as a work tool quickly became a passion — he now publishes monthly dashboards on Tableau Public, covering everything from Safaricom usage trends to national infrastructure gaps. His work has been featured in two Kenyan policy briefs and cited by the Ministry of Energy.
Within Kenya TUG, Tonny has become a regular session speaker and mentors newer members through the community Slack. "Data isn't just charts," he says. "It's the story of people's lives — and Tableau helps me tell that story clearly."
"Start with data you actually care about. The technical skills follow naturally when the curiosity is real."
